The Yerok Recession (jun 28, 1730 – may 21, 1744)
Description:
The Yerok Recession was caused primarily by the purchases of Emperor Yerok. The semi-slow fall of the economy created more migrations of low class farmers into cities looking for jobs. However, due to the strict caste laws in Javicia, these farmers were treated horribly and caused a dramatic population decline in some urban centers. The recession was one of the many reasons for revolt by the various independence groups in Javicia and for the eminent fall of the empire.
