French Indian War (jan 1, 1754 – jan 1, 1763)
Description:
French were moving South to gain the Ohio River Valley for fur trapping but the British were moving West to gain the Ohio River Valley for to expand farmland for colonies. This lead to conflict. Ben Franklin told the colonies to protect themselves an the Albany Plan but nobody would agree to the plan because it was so expensive. Great Britain sent troops the defend against British. French fought with natives against British and colonial forces using guerrilla warfare. British eventually won
