Built between 1902 and 1903 (shortly after his legislative service ended), the 2.5-story, hip-roofed Colonial Revival house features prominent gabled dormers. It remains standing today, is documented in Rhode Island historic preservation registries, and is recognized as an awe-inspiring architectural timepiece of the era.
