Description:
The sixth dynasty is the final of the old kingdom. The pharaohs power began to decline before the Old kingdom finally collapsed. The pharaohs of this dynasty continued trade with Byblos, Nubia and Sinai and launch military expeditions. The last pharaoh of the old kingdom, Pepi II was the last pharaoh to build a pyramid.Added to timeline:
