Description:
King Sneferu was the first the King of the 4th dynasty. Sneferu is significant as his annals were recorded on the Palermo stone that show his military expeditions in Nubia and Libya. His expeditions greatly increased Egypt's wealth. The stone also showed 40 ships of cedar being sent from Byblos. Sneferu built 3 pyramids, the Meidum Pyramid, the Bent Pyramid and finally, the Red Pyramid, where he was buried.Added to timeline:
