Congress of Vienna (nov 1, 1814 – jun 30, 1815)
Description:
The Congress of Vienna was a meeting of representatives from several European nations after the initial defeat of Napoleon. These nations wanted to divide Europe and restore it to its old ways in order to prevent anything such as the Napoleonic Wars from happening ever again. One of the most important figures in the Congress was Klemens Von Metternich, an Austrian statesman that led the congress.
