The evidence suggests that Johnny made the first Dior Sauvage Ad at this time.
The filming here became the 2015 launch campaign of Johnny Depp as the face of Dior Sauvage. The first photographs became available in June 2015 (not this shoot - a studio photoshoot) with the commercial being teaser in late summer and eventually launched in September 2015.
Johnny Depp went on to make Dior Sauvage the biggest selling perfume in the world - male or female - and it was the first time that a male fragrance ever topped this list.
The original four year contract has been renewed and extents into and beyond 2023, Dior Sauvage having topped the fragrance sales again in 2022.
