Alexander launches his campaign into India, subjugating smaller kingdoms before meeting opposition with his last large-scale battle of his life at the Hydapses River against King Porus and his army. This would be the closest Alexander would come to losing a battle and the Macedonian king was so impressed by the courage and defiance that King Porus displayed that he spared his life, famously asking "How would you like to be treated?" to which Porus replied, "Like I am, like a king."Added to timeline:
