Includes the ingenuity helicopter, the first helicopter to fly on the martian surface and the first ever powered flight on another planet, the helicopter also contains a piece of the Wright Brothers first Plane on it. Peserverance is like a twin of curiosity, copying many of the same concepts except with much better and more capable equitment. Perserverance demonstrated the ability to land much more precisely on mars, opening up the ability to land on new terrain that was previously to dangerous. The rovers primary science area of interest is the beautifully preserved river delta. It is the first of a two part mission to retreive a sample of martian soil and bring it back to earth for study. The rover also contains the names of 10.98 million people on it.
