Great Plague of 1738 (feb 1, 1738 – jun 22, 1740)
Description:
This was an outbreak of the bubonic plague, affecting mostly Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, and Austria. This outbreak of the plague claimed nearly 50,000 lives. The disease first appeared in February of 1738, and was spread around by the Imperial Army.
