Plague of Cyprian (jan 31, 250 – jan 31, 266)
Description:
The plague took place in Europe. Though they don't really know what caused the plague they think it could have possibaly been smallpox. They think it spread by being highly contagious, transmitted both by direct and indirect contact. "The disease episode of the mid-200s CE caused political, military, economic and religious upheaval." Not only did the plague kill Thousands of people a day it killed and took the lives of 2 of Rome's Emperers.
