The Third Pandemic (sep 24, 1855 – jan 25, 1950)
Description:
This pandemic is the third time the bubonic plague reared its head for a high death count. It originated in China and then spread India soon after before it eventually travelled to the rest of the world via steamboats. Although it killed around 15 million people doctors where able to identify what caused the plague and how it spread. Making it easier to prevent people from being infected, also allowing scientists to attempt to find a way to prevent or cure it. As it is another pop up of the bubonic plague it has the same effects as previously mentioned.
