Reconstruction (apr 10, 1865 – mar 31, 1877)
Description:
The Civil War left the South with economic trouble and cultural stigma. Their population would also be much smaller. Most of the South's infrastructure must be rebuilt, and freedmen need education as well. Southern states wishing to reenter the Union would need to have a State Constitution that abolished slavery and build Freedmen's Schools.
