Description:
The Great Purge was a period of political oppression during Stalin's campaign. If anyone spoke out against Stalin or stood up against him, Stalin would have them killed. It comprised of ethnic cleansing, widespread police surveillance, imprisonment, and hundreds of thousands of executions. An estimated one million people were murdered during the Great Purge.
