The Crimean War (jan 1, 1853 – apr 30, 1856)
Description:
The Crimean War was violent and had began due to the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire giving religious freedom to the French Catholics but not the Russian Orthodox leaders. Also, Great Britain didn't agree with Tsar Nicholas I and Napoleon III improving their military strength at the expense of the Ottoman Empire. Throughout the war, Russia went against the Ottoman Empire along with France and Great Britain. The war weakened the Ottoman Empire further and showed the importance of military strength.
