The Glorious Revolution (jan 1, 1688 – dec 30, 1689)
Description:
The Glorious Revolution, also known as The Bloodless Revolution, was called such because no actual fighting broke out. Instead, the Glorious Revolution consisted of the overthrowing of King James II. He was replaced by his Protestant daughter Mary, and she was fully ready to comply with Parliament. This represented a shift from absolute monarchies in England to constitutional monarchies.
