Description:
The Rwanda genocide happened during the Rwandan civil war. Around this time members of the Tutsi minority ethnic group were being killed by armed militias. The genocide happened the day after all of the Tutsi political leaders and army leaders were executed. The estimated deaths range from 800,000 to 1,000,000.Added to timeline:
