Apis King of Argos (apr 2, 1727 BC – apr 1, 1692 BC)
Description:
son of Phoroneus, King of Argos, and Teledice, a nymph. He established a tyrannical government and called the Peloponnesus after his own name Apia, but was eventually killed in a conspiracy headed by Thelxion, king of Laconia, and Telchis.
