Sophocles (nov 1, 49 BC – jan 1, 40 BC)
Description:
He is known as one of Athen’s three great, tragic play writers. He is best known for writing Oedipus the King, but he has written as many as 123 different dramas. In his youth was also very well known for his physique, athletic ability, and Musical talent. While little is known about the extent of his public life, he is believed to have been very popular and active in his community.
