Description:
With the closing of World War I, Germany’s government was left weak and vulnerable due to the Treaty of Versailles. This gave Hitler just enough room to push his way to the top and construct his regime for a ‘master race’, thus Nazi Germany was born. World War II is a huge turning point in US history because it led to widespread fear of communism in the form of the Cold War and the Red Scare.
