Description:
Math: They wanted math to be the basis of all knowledge because math is “the art of bringing together unknowns to match a known quantity”. math also allowed for the study of astronomy. Math also made it possible to understand science, like how photons are reflected off of a surface and into our eyes.
Science: From the point of view of Islam, the main purpose of the development of science is strengthened in the hearts of people of faith in God by studying His signs. The secular world generally considers science as a means to disgust people from religion.
• Islam encourages scientists to use their knowledge for good purposes; this principle is firmly adhered to the Muslim scientists of the past. Most modern scientists use their knowledge based on selfish motives that often leads to evil and misery to others.
