Odo made bishop of Bayeux (jan 1, 1049 – dec 30, 1049)
Description:
William fills the bishopric of Bayeux with his half-brother, Odo, barely out of his teens (b. c. 1030?) and allegedly 'devoted to the delights of the flesh'. Odo appears to have been appointed a short time after the council of Rheims.
