Description:
o Transistors are tiny switches which are triggered by electric signals.o After many failed attempts, the first transistor was made back in 1947 by John Bardeen and Walter Brattain with the help of William Shockley.
o Computers moved from the simplest coding to a low-level programming language known as ‘assembly language’ thanks to transistors.
o Made computers cheaper and smaller.
