On July of 2020, a Twitch streamer by the name of Sodapoppin decided to stream Among Us for himself, for him he instantly fell in love with it. His audience as well also formed an addiction to the gameplay style and its social interactions. Later on, 100 of thousands of players started invading the game causing Veterans to leave the game for good. While this was going on, Innersloth had recently planned about releasing Among Us 2, however once the Developers had found out about the major rise, the game was instantly cancelled. Once Among Us became a hot trend, huge Youtubers such as Ninja, Pewdiepie, Mr Beast, and Dream played the game for themselves.Added to timeline:
