The Phoney War (oct 22, 1938 – dec 5, 1938)

Description:

With small skirmishes erupting along the German-Yugoslavian border, Adolf Hitler chose not to focus on the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and turning his focus on the true threat to Germany; France.

This would be the beginning of what would later be labelled by the British as the "Phoney War".

The battle on land would largely come to a close, excluding on the German-Yugoslav border where skirmishes continued but it won't be long till February 5th 1939, where the German invasion of Denmark will start.
