Description:
It started with 75000 soldiers of the North Korean People's army who went across the 38th parallel and were trying to attack the pro-Western Republic of Korea. Since the Republic of Korea is Pro- west civilization, America helped them out and sent them troops. This war showed the east v west in the Cold War. It ended with an armistice that China, North Korea, and the US agreed to end the war that gave South Korea an extra 1500 sq miles of territory and a 2 mile wide demilitarized zone between the 2 countries.Added to timeline:
