The Vietnam War also known as the second Indochina war and was fought in the beginning as North Vietnam against South Vietnam but many other countries joined in. Some of the main countries that supported South Vietnam were the United States, South Korea, and Philippines. North Vietnam had China and Soviet Union. The war scarred the American citizens fueling anti-war protests and citizens wanting a war-free future for America.
