Description:
The Berlin Blockade/Berlin Airlift was meant to limit the U.S., France, and the U.K., from traveling to Berlin by blocking off other travel routes. In response to that the U.S., France, and the U.K., delivered food and supplies via airlift.The Berlin Airlift was the first battle in the Cold War. This battle ended in a victory for the U.S. and it further separated the Western allies from the Soviet Union.
