Description:
Unlike his predecessors who strictly followed laissez-faire policies, President Roosevelt instructed the Justice Department to successfully file 25 law suits under the Sherman Anti Trust Act. As a result, Roosevelt established the executive branch's power to regulate business trusts that violated public interest and therefore, strengthened Executive power.
