The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(North Korea), and the Republic of Korea (South Korea) went to war. North Korea had the aid of the USSR and China. South Korea has the aid of the United Nations. North Korea invaded South Korea. By the time the fighting ended, Korea was still divided in two.
