Description:

During his campaign, President Trump embraced populist opposition to immigration and once in office, he used executive powers to revoke DACA. He also barred entry to the U.S. to immigrants from countries he labeled as state sponsors of terrorism, which were primarily Muslim countries. During his term, the U.S. Immigration and Enforcement department (ICE) also separated undocumented children from their parents at the U.S. border, which caused an outcry due to its inhumane harshness.
