Description:
Consumerism (CUL) – With the introduction of the radio to the United States, mass entertainment and communication was achieved. The movie industry also grew in the 1920s. It gave the opportunity for Americans to have heroes and icons that were fictional , rather than real life such as president Roosevelt or president Wilson. Consumerism became a greater part of everyday American lives and helped America become what it is today.
