Description:
BYU is one of four universities selected by US Defense Department to pilot Chinese flagship initiative. BYU is also chosen to be the National Middle East Foreign Language Resource Center.Sometime in the early 2000s, a presidentially mandated review of US foreign language capabilities notes, “One heartening exception to this national norm of mediocrity is Brigham Young University.”
