Virginia & Kentucky Resolutions (jan 1, 1798 – jan 1, 1799)

Description:

The Democratic-Republicans were on the verge of take over as the Federalists party was beginning to disappear. The V&K Resolutions were the trying to get rid of the Alien and Sedition Acts. The resolutions attacked the Federal Government is suppose to protect the people rights (bill of rights) and that "each party has the right to judge for itself..." meaning they should be able to deem what's right and what's wrong for them.
