The Rule of
Emperor Qianlong (jan 1, 1736 – jan 1, 1795)
Description:
Being the educated grandson of the previous ruler Kangxi, Qianlong sought to keep expanding China in the same way Kangxi did. He marked the peak of the dynasty, and the dynasty swelled with so much wealth, taxes were cancelled on a few occasions. At the end of his reign he focused on his favorite eunuchs rather than imperial affairs, causing problems.
