Qing Dynasty (jan 1, 1644 – jan 1, 1911)
Description:
The Qing Dynasty was formed by the Manchu after successfully taking control of the crumbling Ming Dynasty. Focused on the prosperity of education as well as the expansion of rule into central Asia, the Qian Dynasty swelled their economy to an impressive size under the two notable rulers, Kangxi and his grandson Qianlong. Due to this economic growth, the emergence of distinctive social stratification occurred, allowing classes of people to be distinguished such as merchants or scholars.
