The Ming Dynasty Rule (jan 1, 1368 – jan 1, 1644)

Description:

The Ming Dynasty, founded by emperor Hongwu, drove the nomadic and aggressive Mongols out of China in order to work on creating a tightly centralized state. Under the Ming Dynasty, China's reach was expanded across the Indian Ocean Basin due to the push of maritime expeditions. The fortification of China was also pursued with the large construction of the Great Wall of China. The fall of the dynasty was due to Manchu attacks and over indulgence of luxurious practices such as drinking wine.
