The largest Naval battle of World War 2 whilst being considered as the largest Naval battle in Warfare History, the conflict in between American and the Japanese in Leyte Gulf crippled the Japanese naval capacity and gave a victory to the Allies. Leyte Gulf, in the Phillippines, was a vital source of Oil in the Pacific which gave birth to the essential conflict.
