Description:
The Thirty Years' War started when Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand II of Bohemia tried to shorten the religious exercises of his subjects, starting resistance among Protestants. The war came to include the forces of Europe, with Sweden, France, Spain, and Austria all pursuing efforts essentially on German soil. Known to a limited extent for the outrages submitted by hired fighter officers, the war finished with a progression of deals that made up the Peace of Westphalia. The aftermath reshaped the religious and political guide of focal Europe. Key concept 4.3
