Description:

The American Civil War was a war between the Northern and Southern United States from 1861-1865. The primary cause was over slavery as the south advocated to keep it, while the north wanted to abolish it. This would end in the Northern United States winning, therefore ending slavery, and releasing freed slaves into a new world that they had to adapt to.
