The Dawes Plan (apr 9, 1924 – jan 1, 1929)

Description:

An economic plan to help resolve the problem of war reparations. The US banks would lend money to Germany so they can pay their war reparations. At the same time, with the money France and GB received from this, they could pay back the money they borrowed from the US in WWI. It was a success until the Great Depression of 1929. The US couldn't lend money to Germany anymore, Germany couldn't pay and therefore France and GB couldn't pay, and so on.
