Description:
The punic wars were a series of 3 wars fought between Rome and Carthage for control and power for the territory surrounding the Mediterranian sea. These wars helped the small city of Rome gather and train soldiers and gain wealth in order to expand into an empire. They were also extremely significant since as a result they increased their power and became the dominating force of the Mediterranean
