Description:
He was the viceroy of Varanasi before he became theking of Magadha.
Shisunaga defeated the king of Avanti Chandra Pratyoda Mahasena, which was made part of theMagadhan Empire.
Shishunaga shifted the capital of Magadha to
Vaishali for a short period.
He was succeeded by his son “Kalasoka”,
(Kakavarnin).
