Description:
Although the Germans had already been prosecuting Jews, the conference formalized the Holocaust, declaring Hitler's "final solution" for the "Jewish problem" and establishing Auschwitz-Birkenau as a main extermination camp, along with several others. Significant figures for this event include Reinhard Heydrich, Gestapo chief and SS leader, as well as Adolf Eichmann, chief of Jewish affairs.
