Steamboat/New Transportation 1807 (jan 1, 1807 – dec 31, 1807)
Description:
Steamboats were invented by Robert Fulton in 1807, and instantly brought successes since it helped transport goods more efficiently and fast through water and even transport passengers to different locations. Besides this, Steam boats became important because Steam Engines were important for transportation.

Roads/Canals/Railroads:
-Roads- like the national road called Cumberland Road helped improve transportation and communication between the fronteir and the East Coast that even helped increase the population in Ohio.
-Canals- are passage way for boats, a famous canal is the Erie Canal
-Railroads- where used to import goods by trains, so it was important for shipping and even transportation.
