Elizabeth Cady Stanton: Organized the Seneca Falls Convention where she wrote the Declaration of Sentiments based on the Declaration of Independence and she fought for equal rights for women at work, school and church.
Seneca Falls Convention: Convention held in Seneca Falls, New York on July 19 and 20, 1848.Ideas/Complaints from convention were presented in the Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions modeled on the Declaration of Independence stating that, “All men and women are created equal.”
