Description:

Vietnam became a free country after gaining its freedom from France. Minh led a conference to discuss how Vietnam should be run. What was determined was that Northern Vietnam would be communist and be led by Minh, while Southern Vietnam would be democratic and be run by Ngo Dinh Diem. Soon after this conference, S. Vietnam began to severely struggle economically. Citizens wanted to overthrow Diem and switch to communism, so these citizens formed the Vietcong. Americans didn't like this war, so they protested heavily and created songs about the war, burned draft tickets, and fled the country. Illegal drugs started being used by African citizens.
