1st Five-Year-Plan (oct 1, 1928 – aug 15, 1931)

Description:

(It begin in 1st of OCt 1928 but ends in ~1931)
*Concentrated on heavy industry
*Coal, Iron, steel, oil and machine production
*Industrial production was planned to be 300% increased
*Light industry planned to be 2x
*Electricity production was planned to be increased by 600%
*Hundreds of new factories and mines were set up
*New rail links, Magnitogorsk and hydro-electric schemes were established
*In 1929 talks the targets were exceeded and in 1930 it was decided that this FYP would be shortened to 4 years
