United States "neutrality" (jun 28, 1914 – apr 6, 1917)
Description:
The US refused to enter the war, but supported the Allies
Causes: Wilson was worried about the division among Americans concerning the ongoing war and therefore remained “neutral”
Effects: Eventually America ended up entering the war anyway, despite initial reluctance. Due to several events they entered the war anyway(Events being Zimmerman Telegram, and the sinking of the Lusitania)
