Hypergen Era (jan 15, 2021 – apr 18, 2021)

Description:

The Hypergen Era is the times of queue where small waves of players come and go quickly where they are not large enough to be considered generations. As a result, generations are not very present in this era. In the Hypergen Era, players have been getting rich even quicker than previously, so players have been able to afford badminned items that are bought and sold for profit. This has caused the badminned item market to become mainstream on queue spreading from Sky Sailors and Museum Island deals and the occasional badminned item sold outside of player islands to the distribution of items to typical queuefags. Players like Primisit and Mvnkey have also increased the supply of badminned items by buying them from players that had stashed illegal items for main items or real money making these items more accessible by distributing these items to players outside of the elite in queue. Badminned items have become so mainstream that some players have earned all profit from flipping badminned items and other methods outside of fishing.
The decline of enchanted book values also took place during the Hypergen Era. The decline of book prices had been declining since the release of Queue Town. The decline of prices was fastest during the Queue Recession but slowed down after the new influx of players from SalC1's video mentioning Purity Vanilla and the Queue Town plot price changes afterwards.
With many players getting rich quickly and leaving, there needed to be new players to replace them. When SalC1 made his video criticizing queue, many players joined regardless, boosting the server greatly and making Purity Vanilla one of the top servers in minecraft. As a result, new players were becoming part of the queue community fast enough to replenish the number of players that were leaving.
Boone has done multiple things to extend the time players are grinding on queue. The Queue Town plot price change slightly increased the price of Queue Town plots. The Queue Casino was built as a gambling system for queuefags to spend their nuggets on. However, it broke on the first day and has not been operational since. Richfag Town was also added so that players could expand their plot from the 19 block by 19 block by 40 block limits of Queue Town plots. The expansions have costed 800 and 1200 iron nuggets respectively, costing significantly more than any step in the queue progression aside from gold armor. However, these changes have not done much to keep queuefags interested in queue by either causing minimal effects or just not being worth to invest in for most queuefags.
The Hypergen Era ended after NTD purchased their plot. NTD is a group consisting of many member and currently own the plot with the largest number of players on it at 14 members currently. This group helped stabilize queue by creating a group of queuefags that would become the core of Gen 4.
